Every model is designed and built with the highest quality standards obtainable by a specialized industrial process. The modular unit’s steel structure comprised of exterior walls, floor and roof exceeds the industry’s strict building codes and specifications for hurricanes and earthquakes, offering a 20 year guarantee. Due to the industrial mass-production process the modules not only obtain a high standardized quality control but also a drastic reduction in the cost of fabrication. CxHabitat can compete at an international level with any existing residential-construction method available today. The design of each model is innovative, modern and practical. We use high quality materials that are durable and easy to maintain.
EcoFriendly
Due to the industrial process of fabrication of each habitat, waste is minimized while energy efficiency and savings are greatly improved. In addition to this, the units are designed to use sustainable or recyclable materials while optimizing energy and water consumption through passive and active systems. There is an optional connection to additional active power generation systems such as solar panels and wind turbines. Each individual unit is designed to have 4 points of contact between the unit and the ground, greatly minimizing the invasive nature of building.
Easily Transportable
Every Cxhabitat is transported as standard freight (ISO Container-8’ wide) by land, sea or rail, using existing equipment and infrastructure to transport, load and unload.
7 Minute Installation
As they leave the factory, the CxHabitat comes ready for immediate installation and completely equipped (including kitchen cabinets, major appliances, closets, fully equipped bathrooms and optional furniture). The installation process from transport configuration to a ready to move in home takes 7 minutes. The leveling of the house is done automatically (in single family configuration) and it comes ready for communication, water and electric connections to the grid. If necessary, the house can be uninstalled automatically back to the transportation-configuration in order to be removed.
